BE IT REMEMBERED, that on the 25th day of November, A.D. 1953, Marion C. Knight of Thetford in the County of Orange and State of Vermont, filed in the office of the Clerk of the County Court within and the County of Orange, her libel for divorce against Howard F. Knight then of Rockingham, in the County of Windham and State of Vermont, setting forth therein, in substance, that on the 29th day of May A.D. 1937 at Derby in the County of Orleans and State of Vermont she was lawfully joined in marriage with the said Howard F. Knight by Rev. W.H. May, a Minister of Gospel, then and there duly authorized to solemnize marriage under the laws of the State of Vermont; that the maiden name of the said libellant was Marion Corabelle Cook; and alleging as the cause for divorce, adultry, and praying that for said cause the Court would grant her a bill of divorce from the said Howard F. Knight, all as more fully and at large appears by said original libel for divorce now on file herein. Said cause being duly entered and docketed in said Court, the same is continued to the present term thereof, begun and held at Chelsea on the first Tuesday in June, A.D. 1954, when the libellant comes with her attorneys, Peter P. Plante, Esq. and Fred A. Jones, Esq. of Lebanon, N.H. to prosecute and the libellee enters into a stipulation with said libellant and makes no contest herein and hearing is had on June 2, 1954. Said cause was continued for entry to June 10, 1954.

WHEREUPON, it appearing by plenary proof that the residence of the libellant is in this County and the facts set forst as to adultry are true, it is hereby ordered  adjudged and decreed that the said libellant have a bill of divorce from the said libelle, and the Court makes written order in the words and figures following:

"The above entitled cause came on for hearing before the Orange County Court at Chelsea on June 2, 1954. Present, Holden, P.J., Tilson and Allen, JJ. The libellant appeared in person and by Frederick A. Jones, Esq., by leave of the Court previously granted. The libellee Howard F. Knight did not appear in peson nor by attorney although the record indicates he has counsel of record.

Upon consideration of the evidence received in the cause, it is hereby ORDERED ADJUDGED AND DECREED

1. A divorce is granted to the libellant (Marion Corabelle nee: Cook - Knight) on the ground the libellee (Howard Franklin Knight, Sr.) has committed adultry, Decree nisi.

2. The care and custody of the minor children of the parties, to wit, Howard F. Knight, Jr., Cora M. Knight and Ida J. Knight is decreed to the libellant Marion C. Knight.

3. Exclusive possession and ownership of the farm and buildings of the partiies siutated in Thetford, together with the furniture, furnishings and all the farm equipment, including the 1946 Willeys Jeep automobile, is granted to the libellant, Marion C. Knight, exclusive of the natural rights of the libellee, Howard F. Knight.

4. The libellee, Howard F. Knight, shall have the right to see the minor children of said parties on every other Saturday, and this right shall include his right to take the children with him for the day, or any of them, but they are to be returned to the home premises by sxi o'clock in the evening.

5. The libellee, Howard F. Knight, shall pay to the libellant, Marion C. Knight for the support of said minor children, the sum of Twenty Dollars per week.

Theos, Jr. Derry (N.H.) - Miss Ida Jane Knight, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard F. Knight of 13 Terrace street, Nashua, became the bride of Lewis J. Theos, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis J. Theos of Londonderry, in a double ring ceremony at Derry Village. The bride wor a street length sheath of white lace over bridal satin fasioned with round neck and long sleeves. Her shoulder length veil was caught to a Dior bow. She wore a corsage of pinkheart roses and white glamelias. Mrs. James Kevilik of Derry wore a dress of yellow embossed cotton with matching accessories and a corsage of yellow roses and purpe glamelias. James Kelvlik was best man. This Application for Membership by Howard F. Knight Jr. MUST have been filled out in the year 1981, since Franklin W. Knight II was born in April 1966. If Howard Jr. and Minnie's son was born in 1966 and was 15 years old at the time of this document being created, then the time frame for this Application would be in 1981. Later, in Exhibit #33 Howard F. Knight Jr. states that, "he joined the Coos Tribal Band and took my seat on the Tribal Council as a Clan Chief representing my family Clan, in about June or July of 1980". If that were the case, then Franklin Warren Knight II, would have been 14 years and 2 months of age at the time of this Application being filled out by Howard F. Knight Jr., thereby Howard's son would not have been 15 years old.

So, NOW that one has seen and reviewed the Vital Record Documents from 1846 onward through time and pertaining to Ida May (nee: Geer) Knight and her ancestors, and their descendants, DOES ANYONE SEE ANY CONNECTION TO Odanak, or to Pierreville, Quebec, Canada? Does anyone FIND any indication of her being Abenaki, identified or identifying on any level shape or form as such?

Caledonian-Record Obituary dated shortly after January 15, 1944 regarding the death of Harry Gilbert Geer. "Funeral services for Harry Geer, who passed away at his home on the West Burke road on Jan. 15, were held at the Woods & Trefren parlors on Monday, the Rev. Hugh Thompson officiating. Many friends attended and the floral tributes were very beautiful. Internment was in the family lot at Lyndon Center. Harry Geer was born in Groton, Nov. 25, 1883, the son of Elmer and Ada (Bigelow) Geer. On Nov. 13, 1926 he was united in marriage to Miss Vera Little of Laconia, N.H., who survives him. To this union were born two children, both dying in infancy. Surviving relatives besides the widow are a sister, Mrs. Estella King, of Massachusetts, a brother, Clayton Caswell of Chester Depot, a half-brother, Maurice Caswell of the Lake Road, a half-sister, Mrs. Gerald Tanner of Lyndon Center, an uncle, Lorenzo Arthur Bigelow of Lebanon, N.H., and several nieces and nephews. Harry had lived on the West Burke road since 1902, and for many years operated a truck team in Lyndonville and vicinity. His health began to fail and he has not been able to do any work for the past two years.

Box 267 in Hanover, New Hampshire and he was 59 years and he was born in Lyndonville, Vermont on November 17, 1882. Frank Warren Knight listed his son George Warren Knight of Springfield, Windsor County, Vermont as someone who will always know Frank W. Knight's address. Frank Knight's employer was the Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover, Grafton County, New Hampshire.

"The many friends here of Olive Caswell Perrin of Greensboro were saddened to learn of her death, which occured Friday morning after a serious operation. Mrs. Perrin, who was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Caswell, former residents, was twenty-nine years of age, and had been in poor health for several months." Mrs. Olive Louise (nee: Caswell) Perrin died on September 04, 1931 in Hardwick, Caledonia County, Vermont.

Caledonian-Record newspaper article dated September 10, 1931 regarding Olive Louise (nee: Caswell) Perrin, daughter of George Caswell and Ada M. (nee: Bigelow) Geer-Caswell. "The community was saddened by the sudden death of Mrs. Everett Perrin which occurred last Friday morning at the Hardwick Hospital, following the birth of a daughter (Olive Louise Perrin). Deepest sympathy is extended the family in their sudden bereavement. Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Perrin and daughter Marjorie, have been at the home of their son Everett Perrin.

According the Certificate of death, Ida May Knight resided in Danville, Caledonia County, Vermont. Her Color or Race was said to be "White". Her husband was Frank Knight. She was born January 16, 1888 in "Canada" to Albert Geer and Regnia Allen, The "informant" for this information was the husband Frank Knight of Danville, Vermont. Obviously, her parents were Elmer Ellery Geer and Ada M. (nee: Bigelow) Geer-Caswell. Perhaps Elmer Ellery Geer used the name "Albert" and Regina Allen is Ida May (nee: Geer) Knight's mother's mother Rosina Victoria (nee: Allen) Bigelow. Her burial was Lyndon Center, Vermont on January 23, 1933. Undertaker was C. A. Calderwood Inc. of St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Certificate was filed January21, 1933. Ida May (nee: Geer) Knight died at 4 P.M. of Acute Encipholitis and La Grippe (Influenza i.e. Flu)

Caledonian-Record newspaper obituary of Ida May (nee: Geer) Knight dated January 26, 1933. "Mrs. Frank W. Knight, passed away Thursday, January 19, 1933, at the Brightlook Hospital at the age of 45 years. She was taken suddenly and seriously ill on Tuesday afternoon and was taken immediately to the hospital where she passed away two days later.

Ida May Geer was born at Barnston, P.Q., Jan. 16, 1888, daughter of Albert (Elmer Ellery) and Ada (Bigelow) Geer. When a very small child she with her mother's parents Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow (George Myron Bigelow and Rosina Victoria nee: Allen), with whom she made her home, removed to Newport and later to Lyndon, Vermont. It was in these two towns that she recieved her schooling. She was united in marriage with Frank W. Knight of Lyndonville, Vermont on November 26, 1903. They made their home in Lyndonville, for about three years, going from there to Lowell, Massachusetts. Later they returned to Vermont, residing in Lyndon, Waterford and Danville, in which latter town they have made their home for the past 15 years.

Four children were born to them: Thelma Viola, wife of Clyfton Reynolds of Norwich, and George Warren, Howard Franklin, and Stuart Gibson Knight, who live at home. Mrs. Knight leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband and children, two grandchildren (nieces) , Marion Elizabeth and Mildred May Reynolds, a mother, Mrs. George Albert Caswell of Danville, two brothers (Harry Gilbert Geer, and ?) , a sister (Bessie Estella nee: Geer - King) , a half brother (Clayton LaRoy Caswell) , and a half sister (Abbie Priscilla nee: Caswell - Tanner).

It is in the home where she will be most missed. Always busily at work doing all the little duties which went to make a comforable home for her loved ones, she was too occupied with the homely affairs of life to take a very active part in the activities of the community. Yet she was respected and loved by a host of friends as evidenced by the abundance of beautiful flowers which were sent at the time of her death.

Funeral services were held from her late home on Monday afternoon with the Rev. W. H. May of Derby officiating, assisted by the Rev. Ernest L. Rand. The bearers were her three sons, George Warren, Howard Franklin, and Stuart Gibson, her son-in-law, Clyfton Reynolds, and her half-brothers, Clayton (Clayton LaRoy) Caswell and Morris (Maurice Jay) Caswell. Internment was in the family lot at Lydon.

Among those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Clyfton Reynolds and their daughters Marion and Mildred, amd Mrs. Fred F. Reynolds (Clyfton Reynolds's mother) of Norwich; Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Caswell and their son Francis Albert Caswell of Greensboro; Mr. and Mrs. L. A. (Lorenzo Arthur) Bigelow and their daughter Mrs. Gladys (Gladys Maude nee: Bigelow - Willey) Willey of Lebanon, N.H.; Mrs. (Abbie Priscilla nee: Caswell) Gerald Tanner of Wheelock; and Mrs. Watts of Boston.
