St. Johnsbury Caledonian 1908-1909 "extract" dated September 22, 1909 (Wednesday). (D) Died at Lyndon Center-Mr. and Mrs. B. (Benjamin) R. Lyster and daughter Leah, of Whitefield, N.H. have been stopping at the home of Rev. and Mrs. N.H. Lyster. Mrs. Lyster was called here by the death of her father, George Knight.
(D) Died at Lyndonville - Mr. Knight was born in Barnston, P.Q., 62 years ago. He grew up in Magog, P.Q., and at 18 went to work for the Passumpsic RR. Mr. Knight has suffered from Bright's disease and valvular heart trouble for about three years. In 1869 he married, Sarah Dean, of Nashua, NH. Three of their six children are dead: Mrs. Charles Bowles, Mrs. Broadbelt, whose dau., Mildred lives with her grandmother, and Viola Knight; surviving are, George of St. J., Mrs. Lyster, mentioned above, and Frank of this place. He also leaves two brothers, William and Joseph of Boston, and two sisters, Mrs. L. H. Goodell of Franklin, NH, and Mrs. S.E. Corey of Exeter, ME. (long article).

Death Certificate of Sarah V. (nee: Dean) Knight who died November 14, 1911 in Lyndon, Caledonia County, Vermont. Informant was Benjmain R. Lyster of Whitefield, Coos County, New Hampshire.
According to the Vitals from the St. Johnsbury Caledonia 1910-1911 "extracts" dated November 22, 1911 (Wednesday), "Died in Lyndonville - Nov. 15, Mrs. George Knight, age 61 years. At her rooms in the Dodge building. She died of heart failure following the grip. Her maiden name was Sarah Dean, and she was born on July 16, 1850, at Lincolnville, ME. She married at Nashua, NH, on Nov. 17, 1869. Mr. Knight died at Lyndonville one Sept. 11, 1909. Three of their six children have died; Annie (Mrs. Charles Boles), Susie (Mrs. William Broadbelt), and Viola. Surviving are; George of Sherbrooke, Frank of this place, and Gertrude, (Mrs. Benton R. Lyster), and six grandchildren. One granddau. is Mildred Broadbelt. (medium article.)
