Betsey Guppy Chamberlain Judith A. Ranta, Nancy Coffin Lacompte and Nulhegan "Abenaki" member Jill Cresey Gross Part 2

As I have been doing this research (since ca. 2009 and before that year too) I did and do get alerted by email, text or telephone about the "White" race shifters here in New England, who, post-1970's claim now to be "Abenakis".

Thus, this year of 2021, I began to ponder about a woman from Westford, MA who apparently BECAME AN ABENAKI by way of this Betsey (nee: Guppy) Chamberlain's narrative of being herself, an Abenaki Indian woman.

THE FOLLOWING IS PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION.

2010 Submitted Application Petition

Jill (nee: Cresey) Gross:
"Would love to know how he (Darryl Leroux) was able to view “membership records” (big difference between a membership list and a citizenship roll). I have never heard of any tribal entity disclosing any part of their rolls to outsiders."

Melody (nee: Walker) Brook:
"It was a breach of sovereignty. The Tribal rolls are public record, thanks to the state of Vermont."

Jill Cresey-Gross:
"OMG, that’s just not right."

Just a Reminder:
Let it be KNOWN that, for the purposes of State Recognition it was a REQUIREMENT in the Criteria for VT State Recognition (Legislative Bill S.222, that a Vermont created "Native American" "tribe" such CPAIN (Corporate Entity Posing as an Indigenous Nation) must demonstrate that it has all of the following:
(1) A physical and legal residence in Vermont
(2) An organized tribal membership roll along with specific criteria that were used to determine membership, including evidence of kinship among tribal members.

So the Nulhegan Wannabiiak can whine all the more, along with Donald Warren Stevens Jr. all they want to. THESE DOCUMENTS ARE A MATTER OF PUBLIC RECORD!

[At least, they were, when the State of Vermont Department of Historical Preservation and the State of Vermont General Records and Archives mailed them to me at my request]

As for "sovereignty" Melody (nee: Walker) Brook also has her head up Wiseman's backside still apparently. Like, Hello to the Wannabiiak "tribes" in VT and NH, they all sought FRAUDULENT "recognition" from a 'stacked' VCNAA (Commission) a bunch of sleazy politicians and overall Legislative and Governor i.e. The Colonizer Settler State (of Vermont)!!!!! in 2005, 2006, into 2012.

SOVEREIGNTY wasn't part of the deal.

So, according to & 853 (c) (4) The applicant (in this case, the Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk-Abenaki Nation a.k.a. implying itself to be "historically" known as the "Old Philips Band" (laughable indeed, the CPAIN was created out of the Clan of the Hawk, Inc.'d in 2004. Instead of historical, their claims are hysterical. has historically maintained an organizational structure that exerts influence and authority over its members that is supported by documentation of the structure, membership criteria, the names and residential addresses of some of its members, and the methods by which the applicant conducts its affairs.

4.) exerts influence and authority over its members that is supported by documentation of the names and residential addresses of its members.

ALL OF THE DOCUMENTS ARE A MATTER OF PUBLIC RECORD GOOGLE!

NOTE: The above listed names in the 2010-2011 Nulhegan Application, it is documented and discerned that MANY of these persons and or families were members of other groups, whether that be CPAIN incorporated entities issuing laminated membership cards: i.e. Howard F. Knight Jr.'s "group entities" or the St. Francis-Sokoki group in Swanton, Clan of the Hawk, Inc.'d; and or the Mazipskwik group, et al in either Vermont and / or New Hampshire, prior to the formation/creation of the Nulhegan group in July-August 2004. We also KNOW there are THOUSANDS of members in the Vermont 4 groups that now have state recognition, who have NO ABENAKI ANCESTRY, and/or VERY DISTANCE NATIVE Ancestry (in the 1600's) ... or none at all. Don Stevens Jr. and Fred Wiseman learned well from their fellow white race shifter, the late Homer Walter St. Francis Sr...

So with that placed into this so-called "hate" blog (according to Donald Warren Stevens Jr. --- even as late as May 16, 2021 calls this blog) I will now proceed to SHOW ... WHY I previous posted about Betsey (Guppy) Chamberlain and Judith A. Ranta' book about Betsey etc.

As you all can review from the above Jill (nee: Cresey) Gross, of Westford, MA is a member of a fraudulent Vermont State Recognized "tribe" that was and is a Corporate Posing As An Indigenous Nation i.e. 'CPAIN' the meaning and acronym credited to Daniel StrongWalker Thomas...

Now that you KNOW what CPAIN stands for and the initial 'limited members' of the Nulhegan Wannabiiak group in Orleans County, Vermont had consisted of in 2010-2011 when they began pulling the wool over the Vermont Public's heads, in their manipulations, along with Frederick M. Wiseman PhD, let's dive into member Jill (nee: Cresey) Gross and her retrospective postings:

By Donna Laurent Caruso
"Reading History in Regalia: Three Stories of History and Culture Through Pow Wows"
Jill Cresey-Gross's Abenaki ancestors lived in the present day states of Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and north central Massachusetts. Today, there is a resurgence of Abenaki culture and pride throughout New England.
"We were never a traditional pow-wow people," Jill told ICTMN, "and my parents were not involved in pow-wows, but I got interested in the late 1980's."
Some of that period clothing is seen in the pow-wow regalia worn today by Jill and others in New England circles, including "trade cloth," a woolen-like cloth cut in traditional rectangles for wrap skirts, side-tab leggings, hoods and pouches that are then decorated with "trade silver" and "trade beads."
"I beaded a big spray of pine and a pine cone on the wrap skirt" (the pine tree being of highest importance to her people). "Further, although my beadwork is not exactly like what would be worn in the eighteenth century, I appliqued the Wabanaki double curve design, and in a much larger scale than what my ancestors would have done. I also use sparkling, contemporary beads rather than (simulated) trade beads."
Jill, noting that her mother loved the moccasin flower (also called the pink lady slipper, an orchid unique to the northeast woodlands) appliqued the orchid to her accessories.
On the other hand, Jill enjoys competition pow-wows but those have specific dress guidelines and tribal requirements to place and to earn winnings. Therefore, when she competes, she will often fancy dance. "I bought my first fancy dance shawl second-hand and then beaded all the accessories" to make it her own.

Regarding: Oliver Guppy
From: Maurie Hill
J. Ranta -Thank you for quick response-a huge help! Was he related to Joshua (Wolfeboro Tax Assessor) or James (Joshua's twin and a sea captain of Dover NH).
Family myth is that Joshua Guppy was married to an Abenaki woman. My connection is that Charles H. Guppy (his son) was my great-great
-grandfather. His daughter was Katherine Guppy.
Unfortunately, Charles left his first wife Katherine (nee: Garrity) Guppy and moved to Maine with little Katherine (age 6). By report she told everyone that her mother had died. In fact 2 younger sisters and a brother, (born 1886) Martin Guppy
were left behind in Chelsea Ma. Charles came to Maine and had 6 more children with a woman by the name of Sarah Stanton (of Ellsworth). I have a picture of Martin as a young man. I also have a picture of Charles H and Ms. Stanton with their 6 children. Ironically, he named one of these sons George "Oliver" Guppy. George Oliver Guppy had a son George Oliver Jr. who is alive and well (80+ years) near Farmington ME.
I obtained all info via work originally done by Gertrude Ballam, mother of Herbert Turner of West Bath and Friendship ME. Gertrude's mother was younger sister of Katherine. Also Katherine Guppy married Charles Michael Henry Smith and had 6 children. The oldest, Charles Louis of Falmouth ME was my grandfather. B. Scituate, Mass., 12/3/1900, d.2/1991 Portland Me. Are you related to the Guppy's? I have lots more information!

Regarding: Guppy family, NH
From: Judy Ranta
Maurie, Believe it or not, I'm not a Guppy family member. I got involved in Guppy genealogy while doing historical research on Betsey GUPPY (b. 1797 in Wolfeboro, NH; dau of William GUPPY Comfort MESERVE). Please let me know if you have any information on Betsey Guppy and her father and grandfather, Joshua Guppy.
Along the way, I've come across information on Oliver GUPPY, but I'm not always sure the sources have it right. According to _Our Yesterdays: The Story of Brookfield, NH_, Oliver was the son of Samuel and Mercy Guppy. This book also says that Samuel was the son of Joshua Guppy (p. 50). I think, however, that there were TWO Joshua GUPPY's. One was Joshua (b. about 1739 in Beverly MA), the son of Joshua. I think there may have been another Joshua (b. 1754), who was a son of James (b. about 1736 in Beverly, Ma.).
I do not think that Joshua and James were twins. Recently I looked at _Vital Records of Beverly Mass_. According to this book, James GUPPY and Sarah GUPPY were baptized in Beverly in Feb 1736 or 37. Joshua was baptized in Nov. 1739. Apparently, James and Sarah were the twins. To be continued ...

Regarding: Betsey Wiggins Drew b. 2/17/1813 Wolfeboro, N.H.
From: JillDeeodeep [Jill Cresey - Gross]
I am looking for any information on Betsey Wiggins Drew, and her mother, Nancy I have a transcribed copy of Betsey' birth record with the following information. Child's name: Betsey Wiggins Drew D.O.B. February 17, 1813 Fathers name: John Drew and Mothers maiden name: Nancy Town Records 1804-1814 page 197 Transcribed by Charles H. Warren Clerk of Wolfeboro New Hampshire October 07, 1905.
I have no idea what Nancy's maiden name was as only her first name is written. I cannot be sure that Betsey Wiggins Drew actually married Oliver Guppy as I only know of an intention of marriage record dated February 10, 1839 in the city of Dover N.H. If anyone has any info on my two ancestors or can point me in the right direction please let me know.
Thank you in advance,
Jill Cresey-Gross

From: Jill Cresey-Gross
John, Thank you very much for finding and posting this. I should have guessed that Betsey's middle name was her mothers maiden name. I also had no idea that her marriage to my ancestor was her second and that she had 3 children from this previous marriage in addition to her next 3. Now I have new paths to explore and can start on Nancy Wiggin. Thank you.
Jill

OK, so NOW folks KNOW who Jill (Cresey) Gross of Westford, MA is, and that she is, like the Bruchac's, members of the Nulhegan Wannabiiak CPAIN in Vermont. Let's take a look-see at HER paternal and maternal ancestors:

Because, hey, she communicating with Judith (Judy) A. Ranta in March 2000 about the Guppy Family etc, which triggered my genealogical curiosity.

It's a "work-in-progress" and I will point out that Oliver Charles Guppy (born ca. 1817 and died 1867) and his parentage is a bit of a "twist" ... in some materials I found, Oliver Charles Guppy was allegedly the placed as a son of Samuel Guppy and his wife Mary (nee: Whitehouse) born ca. 1781-1837, yet if that was reality, the woman Mary (nee: Whitehouse) was of European Descent and so wasn't her husband Samuel Guppy. Her husband Samuel Guppy (ca. 1775-ca. 1828) was a sibling brother to William Guppy who had married to Comfort (nee: Meserve), parents of Betsey (nee: Guppy) Chamberlain (1797-1886).

Samuel Guppy and Mary (nee: Whitehouse) did have a son Oliver Gallup Guppy born July 11, 1819 in Wolfboro, NH whom married Emily (nee: Tinker) on September 22, 1844 in Ellsworth, Hancock County, Maine. He died December 11, 1890 in North Easton, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Emily (nee: Tinker) Guppy died January 15, 1871.

I highly DOUBT that without the infancy/childhood death of Oliver Charles Guppy, that Samuel and Mary (Whitehouse) would have named a second child with the name of "Oliver." That's usually a Catholic naming dynamic, and Guppy's were not Catholics.

Thus in my own evaluation, I have placed Oliver Charles Guppy (ca. 1817-1867) as the son of James Guppy and Abigail (nee: Burrows) and James Guppy (who married to Hannah Cromwell) being the son of Capt. James Guppy and Ann (nee: Loud), the latter of whom was a sibling sister to Sarah (nee: Loud) Guppy. As author Judith A. Ranta subjectively suggested and implied, Sarah (nee: Loud) could have been adopted or illegitimate ('NPE' = Non-Paternity-Event/Not-Parent-Expected), but genealogical evaluation does not even elude to that dynamic.

Jill Cresey's great-great grandfather Charles Henry Guppy:

Charles H Guppy left his wife, Katie (nee: Garrity) Guppy, in Chelsea MA and removed to South Freeport, Maine.
Charles occupation continues to be listed as fisherman. The family lived on Bustin's Island during the summer and lived in South Freeport during the winter. Money was made from transporting the summer residents and their goods back and forth from South Freeport to Bustin's Island. The family also fished and dug clams and cut hay. During the winter they cut ice from ponds on the island.
For a number of photographs of Charles H. Guppy and a description of life on Bustin's Island see a book by George B Richardson (titled "Bustin's Island Life and History") located at the Maine Historical Society, Congress Street, Portland ME.

Jill Cresey-Gross having a hair across her FAKE "Abenaki" arse
towards Bettie Conners in Face Book

"I'm surprised to see you give my post a ❤, given that you frequent
D. Bucholtz's site and leave the same on his posts
that attempt to denigrate my band."

"I think his reinvented Abenaki site and his hateful ravings
make it quite clear what he's doing. So I'm not buying it."

So Boys and Girls, Ladies and Gent's IS the Guppy Descendants, such as Jill Cresey-Gross ACTUALLY ABENAKI? I doubt it myself, considering what I've just posted earlier and in this post.

IF Judith A. Ranta' subjective theory is correct, i.e. that Sarah (nee: Loud) Guppy was not the natural child of (illegitimate) and or adopted into the family of clearly European descent, and that this is (according to Judy Ranta) allegedly indicated and solely based on Sarah's "illiteracy" in comparative to her "mother" Abigail and (Betsey' alleged "sister") Ann Loud's literacy and ability to sign their respective names on a 1779 Land Deed, and since Betsey (Guppy) Chamberlain descended from Sarah Loud (her paternal grandmother), and in comparative Jill (Cresey) Gross being descended from Ann (Loud) Guppy, the question begs to be asked (and answered), that since Jill doesn't seemingly descend from Sarah (Loud) Guppy nor Betsey (Guppy) Chamberlain, but rather from Ann Loud (since BOTH "sisters married to two brothers surname Guppy of the same parents) then HOW does that subjective oral history make Jill (Cresey) Gross, an Abenaki?

This blog is about FAKE "Abenakis"
In the Northeast
I LOVE EXPOSING RACE-SHIFTING
WANNABIAK

There's PLENTY of 'em too in "her" Nulhegan group too!

Now, previously I made mention of Daniel StrongWalker Thomas' CPAIN (Corporate's Posing As Indigenous Nations) and in early May, Troy Phillips, as Chairman of the MA Commission on Indian Affairs, SUDDENLY posted this on Facebook, wanting to dig up "dirt" on Mr. Daniel Strong Walker Thomas, because before this he made mention of CPAIN org.'s in the Northeast today (i.e. VT/NH for example).

I've noticed that there are allies to the Vermont/New Hampshire race shifting going on, of those race shifters claiming to be "Abenaki" (what with their tiered Nulhegan Membership w. or w/o voting rights etc to "pad" the membership numbers... hell one doesn't even have to have ANY Abenaki or even any Native ancestry and still be a member of the Nulhegan!)

Troy Phillips, member of the Nipmuc, with a straight up blond white woman spouse, posted this to Facebook , and who responded almost IMMEDIATELY (within seconds to two minutes) but Jill Cresey-Gross herself, of Westford, MA. The question is WHY? How is Daniel StrongWalker Thomas a threat to her (or anyone else in the Northeast)? And why are they trying to silence him Because ...
