October 2000 SCRAP Article regarding Jefferson Archaelogical Site(s).

This is quite an interesting article which I conclude people who read this blogspot.com site might like to read. Obviously, there is no mention anywhere of finding any evidence of a contemporary "Abenaki Village" within Jefferson, Coos County, New Hampshire. Yet, I will genealogically SHOW that indeed there were "Abenaki" or Native descendants living within Jefferson, N.H. (such as the Virge - Ingerson lienage and also Molly Mollaso who married into the Hight family....she came from either St. Albans, Vermont or Maine according to the records) and yet, were NOT living in or around ANY externally observed or documented "abenaki village" or enclave of people. That's for another day and posting though, genealogically-speaking. Periodically, I will be putting "archaeological" articles on this blog as it pertains to Jefferson, New Hampshire.
